I have been staying at the Desert Palms since the 90s. It is one of my favorite Anaheim hotels. The hotel staff is always welcoming and friendly. It is always clean. Unfortunately I’m only giving it three stars this time, they told us that due to Covid we wouldn’t have housekeeping each day, what was super frustrating is that housekeeping would come and take the dirty towels, and empty garbages… but they wouldn’t replace towels or leave toilet paper? We had to ask for toilet paper three times this past week and ask for towels each time we needed them?! If they can come in to take dirty towels, why can’t they leave clean ones? And if they can empty the garbage in the bathroom, why can’t they replace an empty toilet paper roll? It doesn’t make sense to me. I hope in the future, this issue can be fixed.

We just got home from a 4 night stay with our family of 5 here for Disneyland of course. It’s perfect walking distance from the entrance to the parks, 711 and another little convenience store are right there, CVS across the street. We had a deluxe suit, 2 queen beds, and a pull out in a separate sunken room, 2 TV’s, mini fridge, microwave.. it was perfect size for our family to sleep, eat, and relax when we needed a break from Disneyland or were done for the day.. the room was clean, the staff was wonderful, the pool area was kept up nicely. The biggest downside and why I only gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because they are currently not offering housekeeping services no matter the length of your stay, and that is a huge deal for my husband and I. Yes, we can obviously make beds ourselves and we always keep things organized and tidy, but there’s something about coming back to a freshly made room after a long day on vacation or work or anything.. so that was disappointing.
