    Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park in Anaheim are open! You can purchase multi-day tickets for both parks here. Check the theme park reservation calendar for empty slots. You have to acquire a park reservation along with the tickets.
  • Are Anaheim restaurants open?

    The neighborhood of Desert Palms is teeming with restaurants ready to serve your cravings. Try multitudes of innovative dining options like Fire + Ice Interactive Grill + Bar, King Coffee, or Roy’s Restaurant at Anaheim GardenWalk. Indulge in Disney favorites at Salt & Straw or Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes in Downtown Disney District. Grab your fresh morning coffee from our nearest IHOP.
  • What amenities are open at the hotel?

    Desert Palms Hotel & Suites is back to serve you with a smile. Our outdoor pool, fitness center, and hot buffet breakfast are now fully reopened. More frequent cleaning of high touch areas is still in place and we have installed hand sanitizer stations across the property for guests and staff. Learn more about our safety standards.
  • What cleaning measures are in place at the hotel?

    We maintain round-the-clock cleanliness standards across the property. We have increased the frequency of cleaning common areas including Front Desk, elevators and elevator buttons, Lobby, door handles, and public restrooms among other areas. Employee’s temperatures are taken daily and masks are available at the Front Desk upon request. Full service daily housekeeping during stays is not available but housekeepers will replace towels and take out trash during your visit. Extra items such as towels and blankets can be picked up at the Front Desk or delivered to your room upon request.
  • Is Anaheim Convention Center open?

    Anaheim Convention Center is open and has received GBAC Star accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, which means it is a safe and clean venue following all proper disinfection and disease prevention practices. Wall-mounted hand sanitizers, touchless paper towel dispensers, and physical distancing signage are distributed across the Center.

  • What time is check in and check out time?

    Check in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 11:00am.
  • Is early check in available?

    Early check in is offered starting at 9:00am for $35 plus tax and is based upon availability. The hotel cannot guarantee early check in will be available in advance. Please check with the Front Desk when you arrive to see if your room is ready. If a room is not available, we can definitely store your luggage for you and offer early parking if a spot is available.
  • Is late check out available?

    Late check out is offered until 4:00pm for $35 plus tax and is based upon availability. The hotel cannot guarantee late check out will be available in advance. Please check with the Front Desk on the morning of your check out date to see what the latest check out time available is. If you are leaving later in the day we are happy to store your luggage for you until your departure.
  • How much is parking?

    Self-parking is currently $22 per night plus tax. Unfortunately, due to space, additional vehicles cannot be accommodated. A parking permit will be issued at check-in. You may leave your vehicle in the parking lot until 12:00pm on your departure day. You should move your vehicle to a Disney parking location if you will be visiting Disneyland past 12:00pm on your check out date. RV and oversized vehicles that cannot fit in one parking space are not permitted. Parking is for hotel guests only.
  • Do you offer breakfast?

    We do offer a full hot breakfast buffet daily from 6:30am to 10:00am. Our breakfast buffet includes* sausage, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea and juice. *Please note that some of these items may be offered on a rotating basis and offerings are subject to change.
  • What are my dining options?

    There are a variety of restaurants in the area to enjoy. We are located across the street from The Gardenwalk Shopping Center which has a variety of excellent restaurants including Bubba Gump's, Cheesecake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen and about a 15 minute walk from Downtown Disney which also offers a variety of restaurants.
  • Do you offer any Kids Activities?

    Kids will love their stay at the Desert Palms Hotel and Suites. Our Kid friendly rooms with bunk beds and full hot breakfast are guaranteed to make their visit memorable. The fun starts as soon as you arrive with our Kids Registration at the Front Desk. Kids can “check in” along with their parents by signing our kids registration book. Once they’ve checked in they can start our lobby scavenger hunt and see if they can spot all of the characters that are hidden around the lobby. Once they’ve found them all they can come back to the Front Desk to claim their prize.
  • How close are you to Disneyland?

    We are about a 10-minute walk or 0.5 miles from Disneyland.
  • Can we purchase Disneyland Tickets at the hotel?

    We do sell Disneyland tickets at the hotel, however at this time it is recommended to purchase your Disneyland and California Adventure park tickets in advance on Disneyland's website due to the need to have a park reservation in addition to valid ticket. You can purchase your tickets here.
  • What is the closest airport?

    The closest airport is the Orange County Airport (SNA), also known as the John Wayne Airport. It Is located about 12 miles from the hotel and is usually a 20 - 30-minute drive. The closest international Airport is Los Angeles Airport (LAX). It is located about 34 miles from the hotel and travel times varies widely depending on time of day with traffic, but typically will take 45 minutes to an hour driving.
  • Does the hotel provide a shuttle?

    The hotel does not provide a shuttle, but we are located right next to a stop on the Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) route. This shuttle service goes to several places in the area including Disneyland. You can purchase shuttle passes on their app for 1, 3, & 5 days. Day passes are $6.00 for adults and $2.50 for children.   • Does the hotel offer Tours and transportation to other attractions besides Disneyland?

    Contact the hotel directly for help with booking private tours and transportation.
  • Do you arrange scooter, stroller, or wheelchair rentals?

    We do not arrange scooter, stroller or wheelchair rentals but there is a variety of companies in the area that you would be able to rent from. Please note we do not have storage space for scooters or strollers available at the hotel and all rented scooters and strollers must be stored with guests in their room when not in use.
  • Do you accept packages for guests?

    We can accept up to 4 packages per reservation for our guests no more than 1 week prior to arrival. Please make sure the name on your package matches the name of your reservation for proper storage.
  • Do you allow pets?

    The hotel does not allow pets.
  • Can we pre-pay for our accommodations?

    Reservations booked directly through the hotel cannot be pre-paid as the hotel does not accept advance credit card payment. The registered guests present during check in can choose to pay with cash or credit card upon arrival after providing valid ID.
  • Can I cancel my reservation?

    If you booked directly with the hotel, reservations must be canceled 48-hours before your arrival to avoid the penalty of one night's room and tax charge*. If you booked through any third party, you must contact them directly to cancel your room and adhere to their specific cancelation rules as they may be different from the hotel rules.   • Do you have a waiting list for sold out dates?

    We do not have a waiting list for reservations. The hotel does have a 48-hour cancellation policy, so guests are welcome to check back periodically to see if any rooms have become available because of cancellations received.
  • We are celebrating, can we have something placed in our room?

    The hotel does not arrange gifts or room decorations directly; however, you are more than welcome to order something from an outside company such as Disney Floral and Gifts or Edible Arrangements and have it delivered to the hotel. Please make sure the name on the delivery matches the name on the reservation.
  • We have an extra person; can we get a rollaway bed?

    Rollaway beds are offered only in our Deluxe Room with 2 Queen beds for $15 plus tax per night. Rollaway beds cannot be accommodated in suites. We offer suites that sleep up to 8 people.
  • Do rooms offer refrigerators and microwaves?

    All guest rooms and suites offer a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker, except for our Kitchen Suite which offers a full-size fridge.
  • Do you offer upgrades?

    We would be happy to provide you with upgrade options, no matter how you booked your reservation. Please call our reservations department for pricing and availability 888-521-6420, or you can inquire upon check in.
  • Will my room have a safe?

    Yes, all rooms have a safe large enough to hold a 15" laptop.
  • Do you offer Wi-Fi?

    We do offer free Wi-Fi in all guest rooms and hotel areas.
  • Do you offer adjoining rooms?

    We do have select of our Deluxe 2 Queen Bedrooms that adjoin. We cannot guarantee room placement in advance but would be happy to add that request to your reservation. We try our best to honor all guest requests on the morning of check in.
  • Do you offer cribs?

    We do offer cribs complimentary.
  • Can I request a Disney view?

    Select of our Deluxe Studio Suites and 1 Bedroom Bunk Bed Suites are facing California Adventure Park. We do not guarantee room placement in advance, but we would be glad to add a request for a Disney view to your reservation. We try our best to accommodate all guest requests upon the morning of check in. No other room type faces towards the parks.
  • Does your hotel have a pool?

    We do have an outdoor heated pool and hot tub
  • Do you have laundry facilities at the hotel?

    The hotel does have self-service washers and dryers for guests use at the hotel. These machines charge $4 to wash and $4 to dry per load. They accept credit card only. Laundry soap and dryer sheets are also available for purchase.
  • Do you have a fitness center?

    Yes, we do a fitness facility located on our lower level. Our Fitness Center includes an elliptical, treadmill, stationary bike, weight machine and free weights.
  • Do you have a business center?

    Yes, we do offer a business center with computer and printers. The Front Desk can also help you scan or fax paperwork.
