I would not change much about this place or our room (the only thing was we had a street view and the louvre blinds let in the lights - so hubby had a restless sleep). The room was very spacious, exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was perfect (as well as being cute). The breakfast was fantastic (heaps of choices). I understand wanting to save the planet with paper plates - but then why plastic cutlery. The foyer has a kids area (as well as heaps of chairs, lounges, tables and charging stations - they also decorate it for the holidays which is great for photos), the pool and spa have towels to use, the laundry area was a bonus. The place is about a 10-15 min walk to Disneyland and there is bus stops 2 min walk away. The BEST part is the staff (breakfast room staff take pride in keeping the place clean and stocked). Shout out to Lauren who was training and arranged our shuttle bus and explained everything so we did not have any hassles. Shout out to Alex and Carina (who should be made employees of the year) who checked us in, said hello and goodbye whenever we saw them and always asked us how are day was, did we have fun and made us feel so welcomed - we really appreciated that. We also ordered room service and there were heaps of options and it all was delicious - we could not fault any of our food. I could go on and on but honestly this place was perfect for our family in value and hospitality - our family highly recommends you stay here!!!

Clean and convenient

Desert Palms far exceeded our expectations! We had the deluxe suite which consisted of two queen beds and a small living room with a sofa bed. It could have easily slept six.The lobby and room were immaculate. Our room had a microwave and fridge, but no freezer (some rooms do have a freezer). We were also impressed by the breakfast selection in the morning: coffee, juice, tea, yogurt, fruit cocktail, cottage cheese, plain and strawberry yogurt, eggs, sausage, an an assortment of pastries. One day there were oranges offered, another day apples, and bananas a different day. The eggs and sausage were clearly marked as "Gluten Free" which I appreciated. Coffee and water available 24/7 in the lobby. I timed the walk - last (exhausted) day at Disney it took us 14 minutes to leave the gates until we entered the lobby doors. Would certainly. stay here again! Also - every single employee we met was genuinely friendly. Not sure who does their hiring but everyone we encountered was excellent!
