Summer has begun, and things are starting to heat up at the Disneyland Resort. Along with the additional heat comes the additional crowds. For summer visits to Disneyland you need to be prepared for longer than normal wait times and might want to consider taking advantage of the MaxPass system offered by Disney for (currently) $10 per day, per ticket. In addition to getting to schedule your fast passes on your smartphone instead of physically inserting your ticket at each ride's fast pass outpost, you also get them twice as quickly throughout the day (every 1 & ½ hours instead of every 3 hours) and you get all your digital picture downloads included as well. This will save you a lot of time (and money if you were planning on downloading pictures) on your long summer days this season.
It probably goes without saying that you should make sure you have plenty of sunscreen for your visits for the next few months, as a nasty burn can ruin anyone's Disney Day. Definitely bring some with you and avoid the super overpriced ones you can buy at the park. You can even buy some at CVS across the street from our hotel just before you head over, or 7/11 next door. Consider wearing a hat during the day to protect your scalp and face from burns. Plan indoor activities and rides for during the day to get some A/C time away from the summer sun. And make sure you don't pass up on the water rides!
