Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort 2023

Calling All Ghosts and Ghouls, Halloween Time is coming to the Disneyland Resort September 1st – October 31st. If you enjoy spooky special events this is the place to be! Let's take a look at what this season has in store for us this year at the Disneyland Resort.

Standing by the giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street USA, Mickey Mouse is wearing a top hat with a bat bowtie and a dapper vest with a spooky swirl, and Minnie Mouse is wearing a dress spotted with bats, a cape and a hair bow featuring a bat.

Festive Décor and Fancy Costumes

The Disneyland Resort has been decked out in spooky décor and fall trimmings. Hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins will line Main Street USA. Any day now the great Mickey Pumpkin Head will appear on Main Street and Oogie Boogie will arrive at Disney's California Adventure Park's Main Gate. Keep an eye out for your favorite characters strolling the park in their Halloween costumes. Mickey and Friends will all be dressed up for the occasion, and don't be surprised if you see an increase in spookier characters out and about as well.

Haunted Mansion Holiday

A celebration grand enough to last 2 holidays, The Haunted Mansion will transform into Haunted Mansion Holiday until early January of next year. This transformation, inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is a guest favorite every year. Jack, Sally, and friends take over the Haunted Mansion in some fun and frightful ways. You won't want to miss it!

Halloween Screams

Finish off a great day in the parks with a showing of the nighttime spectacular, Halloween Screams. This projection show features fireworks on select nights and is not to be missed. One of the best things about Disneyland's Nighttime spectaculars is the many viewing areas you can experience it from including Main Street USA, Sleeping Beauty's Castle, and It's a Small World. Expect plenty of villains and haunts to come out during this performance.
