Celebrate The "Spookiest Event Of The Year" - The Oogie Boogie Bash At California Adventure

This year embrace a more sinister Halloween as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party makes way for the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure park. Themed around Oogie Boogie, the villain from Nightmare Before Christmas, this exclusive event promises an unforgettable night of fun and fright.

PREPARING FOR THE SPOOKIEST EVENT OF THE YEAR

Marvel at magical Halloween decorations, discover world-class theatrical entertainment and enjoy special goodies at this all-new ticketed event running from September 17th through end of October at California Adventure Park in Disneyland.

The tickets for the Oogie Boogie Halloween Party are selling out soon, so don't plan on purchasing your tickets on reaching the park. Tickets are sometimes cheaper online as well, so you are better off purchasing them beforehand. (Purchase your tickets!).

Save the dates: The Oogie Boogie Halloween party will take place on the evenings of September 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29, and October 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, and October 31, 2019.

The line to get into the park is likely to be long and you're going to want to get in right away and not miss a moment of fun! Guests will be able to celebrate a pre-party at Disney's California Adventure as well as Disneyland.

Once you've purchased tickets, it's time to plan your costume. Everyone can wear a costume to this event, not just children, so make sure to take advantage of that. Check Disney's costume guidelines to make sure yours fits the bill.

WHAT'S IN STORE THIS SEASON

Behold the macabre makeover and don your scary outfits as you get ready to meet the Disney Villains in California Adventure Park.
Start your Halloween adventure with Shelley Marie as she takes you on a haunted journey of devious encounters with Disney Villains at the "World of Color" show "Villainous!". Witness the true colors of Halloween brought to life through fountains, lights, lasers, projections and special effects at this nighttime spectacular.

Catch a glimpse of a waterfall turned poisonous green by Maleficent, or see the Queen of Heart's garden filled with self-painting roses as you walk through the wickedly transformed Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Enjoy the good old trick-or-treat at the treat trails spread throughout the park – all under the watchful eyes of iconic characters such as Dr. Facilier and Oogie Boogie himself. And if bags of candy from the new interactive treat trails aren't enough for you to haul home, Disney has you covered with plenty of themed food and merchandise available at the park.
Get your groove on and hit the dance floor with live music playing at several places inside the park. Not-to-be-missed is the DescenDance party featuring the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost.

Enjoy great photo opportunities amidst Halloween decorations and spooky encounters with your beloved Disney characters and villains roaming around the park. And that's not all – join Mickey and friends as they put together a celebration perfect for the young and young at heart. Head over to the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land to check out Mickey's Trick and Treat - a new, interactive stage show that includes dancing, not-so-scary-tales, and (of course!) candy.

Make sure to catch the Frightfully Fun Parade, one of Disney's popular attractions, that is coming to Disney California Adventure this year. Get ready to be greeted by some of Disney's Trickiest Tricksters including Jack Skellington, Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, and Grim grinning ghosts from the iconic Haunted Mansion attraction.
A Frightfully Fun Parade, a Descendants dance party, Mickey Mouse stage show, mysterious walk-through, interactive trails, and more – the Halloween Party at Disney's California Adventure is not to be missed this fall. If you are visiting the park during this time, reach early to avoid the party crowds and take a day to experience this spook-tacular celebration hosted by Oogie Boogie!

DISNEY HALLOWEEN PARTY – THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

How much are the tickets to the Halloween Party at California Adventure?

To attend Oogie Boogie Bash you will need a separate ticket. Regular admission does not apply. General admission tickets start at $110 to $145 per person (ages 3 and up). Tickets can be purchased online or by calling (714) 781-4636 until the day before the event, or at any Disneyland Resort ticket booth until the day of the event—subject to availability.

What rides are open during the Halloween Party at Disneyland?

One advantage of visiting the park during Halloween time is that most rides are open, and lines are short. Some of the popular rides you can enjoy at this time are Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween, Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree (Cars Land), Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, and Radiator Screams.

What time is the Halloween party at California Adventure Park?

The Halloween party at Disneyland will be held on 20 nights through September and October, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Do you have to wear a costume to the Halloween party?
