Getting to Catalina is both easy and fun. Ferry service is available at four mainland ports in Long Beach, San Pedro, Dana Point and Newport Beach. The ride is about an hour by boat. If you're in a rush, you can also take a 15-minute helicopter ride from John Wayne Airport/SNA, Burbank Airport, San Pedro or Long Beach.
